Born and raised in New Westminster, Marty spent weekends and summers working alongside his father on home renovations throughout the Lower Mainland. This early exposure sparked a lifelong passion for understanding how houses are built—and how they age over time.

Marty found his niche in electrical work, earning his Red Seal Electrician certification and developing troubleshooting skills ideally suited for detailed home inspections. Later transitioning from hands-on trade work to project management and business ownership, Marty gained extensive experience overseeing construction projects and working closely with stakeholders.

In 2024, Marty combined his decades of construction knowledge and project management expertise to launch CRUX Property Inspections Ltd., bringing meticulous attention to detail and exceptional client care to every inspection.
